The Big Thoughts

Hello!

This devlog is a long one, and its not just about this game, but all of the games I have made, the ones that were cancelled, and the possibly upcoming ones, so lets just get started shall we?

1. Face Your Phobia:
It wasn't bad for a first game, I'd say it turned out well.

If you somehow saw the release post for Face Your Phobia, and now this post,
then you will maybe remember that I said that something will happen to the game somewhat soon.
I'm going to tell you what that is, "Face Your Phobia: Remastered".
If you are thinking that because I have told you what it is, its coming out soon right? no.
It has NO progress done on it, and the reason behind that is that I want other people to help me with it. (Programmers, Sound Designers, etc...)
So not much is happening with Face Your Phobia right now, but I will say this:
Face Your Phobia: Remastered will have more content than just the original 3 levels. (DLC, not base game content!)

2. Simple Shot:
I don't have much to say about it.

It would've been out by now, if AI was easier to make. I didn't know how to fix the problem, and so I just stopped trying.
But remember how I said Face Your Phobia was getting a remaster? Simple Shot is getting one of those too after Face Your Phobia.
It's called "Simple Shot: Reloaded". I called it that cause it's an FPS game, but I still don't know if I should add a reloading mechanic.

3. The Environmental Collection:
I don't know

I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying that I'm not sure what it was supposed to be, other than just doing it for fun.
Am I going to remaster this? I don't know, but I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you.

4. The Arctictech Experiment:
Now that I look back on this, it was kind of doomed from the start.

The SAM voices were kind of cheesy, with writing For Them that I made up on the fly, and the game just didn't make much sense at all.
I made an awful """trailer""" that I wanted to post on an indie games subreddit, (it got rejected, thank god lol)
it was just like 8 seconds of gameplay, then the games title, that's it.
The only reason I made this game was because I liked the "hole in the snow" from The Environmental Collection.
Now, while I did make up writing for the characters as I went, that isn't true for the actual game, though I can't say I think it's much better.
What would've happened on the second day is that you would've gone back down there and found something, (I don't know what)
but when you went to leave, you would've seen the creature called "The Icy Monolith".
On the third day, you would've gone deeper into the caves, and then the Icy Monolith would step right In front of you, then walk away,
and you would've had to book it all the way back while the Icy Monolith was chasing you. when you were climbing the rope,
the rope power would reach 0% and you would've fallen back down and died, ending the game.
I don't think I'm going to remaster the game myself, but if a fan remaster shows up, I would like to join if possible.

That does it for the already released projects, lets go to the cancelled projects now.

1. Void 6-17:
Iron lung but way worse

Says it all there, it was just iron lung but instead of being in a rusty submarine, you would just have to walk, and instead of having a map and taking pictures with an old camera, you would have sort of a flash beacon to light up the area,
and instead of some sort of fish creature, its a giant set of teeth.

2. Discoveries:
Creature game, that's basically it

You would be in this sci fi station thing (because of a modular asset pack I got while it was free for a month, yeah unreal does that) and you would have to get usb sticks to learn more about the creatures, and once you got them all, you would win.
This game might be cancelled, but the creatures i made for it will probably come back.
I will say the name of a character that will show up in future projects, but you'll have to go out of bounds to see them.
The Crashing Crashers, a red squished model of one of the other creatures intended for this game.

That's it for the cancelled projects, now for the possibly upcoming ones

1. Jumpshot Adventure:
The shotgun 64 mod, but its own thing

Singleplayer FPS Parkour, with a shotgun double jump. Not much is completed on this project technically, but I do know how I expect this project to turn out.
However this project is a lot of work, so I think I will hold off on it for now, because I want people to actually play my games and I'm not just talking to no one like I have been doing.
So I think I'm going to work on smaller projects, like the project that I am about to tell you about now.

2. Revolving:
That damned eagle has taken over the desert, can you take back what's yours?

A small project, but hopefully a good one!
that's all I can really say for it at this point.

So That Seems To Be It!

Just some stuff I wanted to talk about.
